1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners.

Cookies do not typically contain any personally identifiable information, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

2. How We Use Cookies

SixPoint Motors LTD uses cookies on our website for the following purposes:

2.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you, such as filling in forms or setting preferences.

• Session cookies — keep you logged in during a single browsing session and expire when you close your browser.
• Preference cookies — remember choices you make (e.g. your cookie consent decision stored in localStorage as spm_cookies_accepted).

2.2 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. These cookies collect information in an anonymised form, including the number of visitors, where visitors came from, and which pages were viewed.

• _ga — Used by Google Analytics to distinguish users. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> — Used to persist session state. Expires after 2 years.
• _gid — Used by Google Analytics to distinguish users. Expires after 24 hours.
• _gat — Used to throttle request rate. Expires after 1 minute.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Our website may include content from or links to third-party services. These services may set their own cookies. We have no control over these cookies. Third-party services we use include:

• Google Maps — used to display our location on the Contact page. Google may set cookies related to map functionality.
• Google Fonts — used to load custom typography. Google may log requests to their servers.

3. Cookie Duration

Cookies are either:

• Session cookies — temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (or until you delete them).
